About the Role:
We’re looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team. This role will be hybrid, working 3 days a week (M/W/Th) in our Austin, TX office. As a BDR at Userpilot, you’ll play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by reaching out to high value prospective customers to illustrate how Userpilot can solve their challenges. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-growing company at the forefront of product engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Warm Leads: Effectively handle a steady stream of warm marketing leads who have some degree of awareness of Userpilot
- Hunt Cold Leads: Balance a book of business that involves cold outbound
- Drive Pipeline: Hit and exceed business generation targets through calling, email, and LinkedIn prospecting
- Build Relationships: Connect with product and marketing leaders to both diagnose and understand their challenges
- Become a Product Expert: Learn the Userpilot platform and how customers leverage it to onboard, engage, and support customers
- Collaborate Internally: Work closely with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience from start to finish
- CRM Management: Keep your book of business organized and up-to-date in our CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience, not necessarily in SaaS/sales. Some sales experience is preferred.
- Driven to learn & excel: learn & develop your interpersonal skillset
- Detail focused: be organized, consistent, and methodical in your approach to work
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Goal-Oriented: Focused with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in CRM software like Salesforce or HubSpot, or a quick learner with an interest in technology
- Balanced: be professional yet personable. Work life balance is key to our success
