The USF Center for Regenerative Medicine is a part of the USF Health Heart Institute and its members collaborate widely with faculty from other USF colleges including Engineering, Arts and Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, and the Moffitt Comprehensive Cancer Center. The USF Center for Regenerative Medicine is located in a new state-of-the-art facility, housing multiple floors of clinical and laboratory space, state-of-the-art equipment, and outstanding core facilities including a vivarium fully outfitted for small animal husbandry and zebrafish.
RESEARCH: Perform basic and translational research related to heart disease. Publish in major peer-reviewed journals, continue to maintain NIH and other grants
TEACHING: Provide didactic and benchside teaching of medical students, graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows and provide college-wide seminars
ADMINISTRATIVE: Serve in governance, service, and community outreach tasks
MINIMUM: Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. For Associate/Full Professor - Normally will have produced creative work, professional writing or research in refereed and other professional journals, and be a recognized authority in the field of specialization.
