Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in ensuring the optimal functionality of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair tasks. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will utilize your core skills in mechanical knowledge, schematics, and facilities maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Key responsibilities:
· Preventative maintenance:
Conducting regular inspections and servicing of equipment to prevent breakdowns, including cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments.
· Repair and troubleshooting:
Diagnosing malfunctions in equipment, identifying root causes, and performing necessary repairs to restore functionality.
· Emergency response:
Responding promptly to equipment failures and breakdowns during operating hours.
· Building system maintenance:
Maintaining HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, lighting fixtures, and other building systems.
· Documentation and reporting:
Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status.
· Safety compliance:
Adhering to safety protocols and procedures when working on equipment.
· Collaboration:
Coordinating with other maintenance staff, facility managers and leads.
Skills and qualifications:
· Technical knowledge: Proficient understanding of mechanical, electrical and schematics, plumbing, and some HVAC systems.
· Troubleshooting skills: Ability to diagnose complex equipment issues and identify solutions.
· Hand tools proficiency: Skillful use of various hand tools and power tools.
· Basic computer skills: Familiarity with maintenance management software.
· Problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze situations and devise effective solutions to maintenance issues.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Must have the ability to hear alarms and audibly identify dangers or hazards when working in production areas.
