What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility IT Manager position at USfalcon?
We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Facility IT Manager to work out of Kirtland AFB, NM.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing and maintaining government IT systems.
- Extensive experience in the installation, maintenance, and accreditation of both classified and unclassified IT systems, particularly within the defense industry.
- Hands-on experience with security protocols for classified systems, including encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and data loss prevention (DLP).
- Experience with IT asset management, including software, hardware, and network inventory tracking.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT and network issues in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, and other server OS installation, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
- Experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure and working in secure, classified environments.
Education/ Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), Information Technology, computer science or similar from a regionally accredited institution.
