What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Quality Assurance Specialist position at USfalcon?
We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to work out of Kirtland AFB, NM.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in quality assurance on a large defense contract.
- Strong knowledge of defense industry standards, including cybersecurity, software/hardware integration, and system testing.
- Proficiency with industry-standard testing and audit tools, methodologies, and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ITAR, DFARS, MIL-STD) and their impact on product development.
- Experience managing quality metrics independently from the program office
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products
- Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods and able to translate into work instruction.
- Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of QE Processes, and related Performance Metrics.
Education/ Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
