We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Test Engineer, Lead to work out of Kirtland AFB, NM.
JOB SUMMARY :
We are seeking an experienced Lead Test Engineer to support the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Integrated Experiments and Evaluation Division (RVE) to lead testing and experimentation in exploration of emerging technologies and applications in the ground, space, and near space domains to include high-altitude balloon, extremely low orbit, and space flights.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Lead test and experimentation planning to explore innovative space and near space technologies, buy down uncertainty and assumptions, and ultimately gain a better understanding of technology viability.
- Lead analysis of test and experimentation results to increase knowledge of characteristics, critical parameters, and thresholds.
- Support concept application analysis, requirements analysis and development, and technical report writing
- Provide leadership in test and experiment planning, preparations, execution, post execution analysis, and feedback into future requirements, testing, and experimentation.
- Lead highly talented team and create a culture of adaptability to new technologies, approaches, and innovation to include sensors, architectures, data, analytic tools, and techniques.
