The shift for this position is swing shift, Monday through Thursday from 3:45 pm to 2:15 am. Overtime may be required on occasion. The pay range for this position is $26.80-$34.05 per hour, and it reflects a progressive pay system determined by demonstrating specific skills and abilities. Pay rates may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate. Role & Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within a manufacturing setting.
- Responsible for operating production equipment, including troubleshooting and making the necessary adjustments to ensure product and quality specifications are met.
- Responsible for recording production data and quality results with attention to detail.
- Apply basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills to help service equipment.
- Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with inventories as needed.
- Adaptable to scheduling changes including assignment of overtime, weekend work, etc.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Able to work in a manufacturing environment in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.
- Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
- Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
- Ability to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and production reporting.
- Proficiency at taking measurements needed to ensure product meets specifications.
- Possess basic maintenance skills including the use of basic hand tools.
- Effective and positive teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers.
- Ability to take direct instructions from supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
