Location HOUSTON- TX Onsite Role

Set up and maintain SFTP servers ensuring proper installation and configuration of secure file transfer protocols.

Manage SFTP clients and servers, configuring permissions, access controls, and ensuring the right access rights for users.

Regular maintenance and updates to the SFTP infrastructure, ensuring the latest patches, security updates, and versions are installed.

mplement encryption techniques (e.g., SSH, public/private key encryption) to ensure that all files transferred via SFTP remain secure.

Monitor and enforce security protocols to protect against unauthorized access, ensuring compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Audit and log file transfers, providing documentation for security purposes and regulatory compliance.

Diagnose and resolve SFTP issues, such as connectivity problems, failed transfers, or access rights errors.

Provide timely support for internal teams and external partners facing issues with file transfers or SFTP setup.

Develop and implement automated scripts or scheduled tasks for routine file transfers to improve efficiency.

Optimize file transfer processes, focusing on reducing latency, improving throughput, and managing bandwidth for optimal file delivery.

Troubleshoot performance issues, identifying bottlenecks in file transfer and proposing solutions.

Create comprehensive documentation on SFTP workflows, configurations, and best practices to ensure smooth operations and troubleshooting processes.
