What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern - Corporate Innovation Center position at USG?
Role & Responsibilities :
- Know, practice, & enforce the safe use of all equipment & materials employed in the course of assigned work. Conduct activities in a safe manner, observing all safety and environmental regulations.
- Effectively complete assigned work related to product formulations, mechanical properties, and / or material integration and system design in areas of fire, acoustics, gypsum chemistry, or ceilings.
- Under the direction of senior scientist, develop project plans and perform laboratory tests.
- Compile & review test data to determine follow-up experiments.
- Recognize & report new technology information relative to project work.
- Provide clear, complete, and accurate written documentation suitable for recreation of test activity, future reference, and development of intellectual property. Provide synopsis of key technical points related to project work results.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
