POSITION SUMMARY :
The position is responsible for managing customer job quotes, ensuring accurate data entry within Salesforce, and providing completed quotes to customers or outside sales representatives. This role involves tracking won / loss metrics, issuing monthly reports on quoting activity and usage, and monitoring issues, enhancements, and questions until resolution. The position also provides additional support to various business units as needed.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Includes the following and performs additional responsibilities as assigned :
- Responsible for quote management : building and managing project quotes within Salesforce, tracking won / loss metrics and quote usage.
- Works directly with account reps on project information, product selection, material pricing, and pricing escalators for quotes.
- Issues monthly reports on quoting activity, including won / loss metrics and usage.
- Develops, reviews, and adopts documented team procedures and processes.
- Assists in business process development and provides recommendations on systems and business process enhancements to improve quote quality or customer experience.
- Monitors issues, enhancements, and questions until resolution, escalating issues as appropriate.
