What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Technologist position at USG?
Role & Responsibilities :
- The technician is responsible for the execution of a more expansive set of detailed tasks such as part of a larger technical team. This will include generally autonomous responsibility for physical completion of tests and technical activity.
- The technician performs assignments with the general technical guidance of more senior members of Research staff.
- Given specific project objectives, the technician will be capable of conducting an experiment or test to obtain the required information or data. Experimental progress and results will be reviewed for appropriateness, accuracy and completeness.
- The technician is responsible for ordering general lab materials and supplies as well as performing routine maintenance of basic lab equipment.
- The technician will be responsible for reporting data, and written documentation of experiment activity and results for the assigned task.
- Some travel may be required of this position.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
