Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Recognize emergency conditions and administer proper treatment.
- Lead and educate staff members, providing training and in-service education.
- Attend meetings to discuss specialty consultations and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field, supplemented by 1 year of cross-training as an ultrasound technologist.
- At least 2 years of experience as a practicing provider within the last 3 years.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- The ability to scan patients of all ages.
- Registration in OB/GYN, vascular, and general sonography.
