Production Assembler II

Definition of Job Title:

The Production Assembler performs various duties in support of manufacturing. These include secondary operations such as assembly of various systems, installing helicoils and inserts, part marking, and visual inspection of product.

Essential functions, duties, and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform various steps to complete component and/or assembly processes
• Help to establish and work from standard operating procedures, product specific information, and work instructions as applicable
• Responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly
• Use various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product
• Comply with customer prints and specifications
• Other duties as assigned

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Excellent manual dexterity, hand/eye coordination
• Capable of working with small to mid-size, detailed materials
• Ability to use a variety of small hand tools
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well a team-oriented environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
