USI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Transportation Engineer to join our Roadway Design Team throughout Indiana. We are looking for a candidate who is well-organized and able to perform road design engineering duties. The ideal candidate is willing to apply their current skills to practical work situations. We expect the applicant to be a competent engineer who is ready for the next step in their career. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for transportation and geometric roadway design, plan development, public presentation, specification writing, drainage calculations, quantity calculations, cost estimating, utility coordination, permitting, and technical report writing.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team on Local Public Agency and INDOT projects
- Effectively communicate project status items to the Road Design Team and clients.
- Assist in the recruitment of new talent and contribute to a positive company culture.
