What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employee Benefits Regional Operations Specialist position at USI Holdings Corporation?
General Description: This Regional Operations Specialist provides support to the Employee Benefits unit.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to commission posting questions from the Accounting Center.
- Generate agency bill invoices and set up producer commission splits in Sagitta.
- Maintain accurate information in agency management systems.
- Generate and distribute monthly audit reports to offices within the region.
- Provide operational support for onboarding acquisitions.
- Assist with post acquisition system data clean up as needed.
- Keep current all employee benefits folders located on the regional share drive.
- Create, update and distribute monthly operational reports to team leads within the region.
- Perform basic statistical calculations on data for reports and presentations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies across the region.
- Assist with special projects, as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Prior customer service experience preferred in the employee benefits industry.
- College degree preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines.
- Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft products.
- Experience with BenefitPoint and ImageRight is a plus.
- Good at attention to detail and ability to self-check work.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction. Ability to carry out multiple tasks with both concrete and abstract variables.
