General Description : Responsible for supporting new system initiative efforts. Define systems capabilities (custom or purchased) to enable the business to grow. Performs project management activities for the approved systems initiative efforts.
Responsibilities :
- Research problems and plan solutions. Recommend software and system changes. Coordinate development to meet business requirements.
- Act as liaison between business users and the IT team.
- Develop business cases and financial models for systems enhancements and net new systems.
- Interact with customers and transform user requests into business requirements and technical specifications.
- Develop test plans and test cases. Manage system testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Define "as is" and "to be" workflows and review with line of business leaders.
- Performs comparative evaluation of internal duplicative systems and system alternatives. Present recommendations and findings to senior management.
- Subject matter expert (SME) in insurance and / or sales workflows and applications.
- Work with business leaders and IT to implement projects and systems changes.
- Manage system conversion activities including data mapping, data analysis, system configuration
- Define and maintain systems analysis standards, deliverables, and processes.
- Develop and maintain project plans, issues logs and tasks in a system of record.
- Review project progress with project team including senior management.
- Manage accountability of tasks for project members.
- Write periodic project status reports for management.
- Interface with vendors to ensure vendor compliance to contractual agreements
