Description

Concept Plus is seeking a Trainer and Technical Writing Manager for a Federal project Primary Responsibilities :

  • Lead a small team to provide support to client's users for Learning Technology, Training, Technical Writing, and Web Support.
  • Specifically, to conduct the following activities :
  • Training

Provide “just-in-time” training through Web-based virtual classrooms and self-paced courses in the staff LMSSchedule and facilitate webinars, conference calls, meetings and other training events for contractors and client's staffTrack training attendance and participation by center and users, and provide reports to centers, regions, and national office as directed.Provide training, documentation and support necessary to meet Government requirements

  • Information Security Training.
  • Provide materials and support for conferences as requestedProduce software simulation videosManage and maintain the client Learning Management SystemCoordinate special training sessions for 3rd partiesPost webinars to the Event Registration page of the website

  • Documentation
  • Provide weekly newsletter with items of interest to client's communityProvide weekly training schedule to client's community.Disseminate informational and instructional notices from the client's national office to the client communityDevelop supporting documentation including release notes, policies, guides, user manuals, notices and reference manuals for both software and for organizational initiatives, policies and procedures.Develop, maintain, and continuously update Help Files for existing and new applications as required.

  • Web Support
  • Provide and maintain a one-stop intranet resource for sharing information, accessing training and documentation resources, archived documents and directoriesPost client's National Policy documents and Notices on the community Intranet site as requiredDevelop and publish online surveys as requested by client.Monitor customer satisfaction through a variety of means such as online surveys and evaluations, personal contact, and email requests.Meeting Planning / Event HostingProvide meeting planning / hosting services as needed.

    Required Experience :

  • Bachelors Degree in education or an IT-related discipline
  • Must possess a demonstrated ability to utilize automated products and graphics packages for preparation of presentation material; utilize a wide variety of audio / visual software and aids in training material preparation and presentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a modern learning lab utilizing audio / visual aids, web-based instruction, computer-assisted instruction, etc., for an environment similar to client infrastructure.
  • Experience with software and IT systems testing processes and training in an environment similar to client.
  • Must be able to prepare, administer, develop and carry out extensive training initiatives and coordinate training activities in the client environment using established training tools.
  • At least ten years experience in management of educational environments (preferably adult basic education administration, classroom, curriculum development, test administration, education program analysis, .
  • At least 3 years experience writing, conducting and documenting IT systems testing and training.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • 2 years experience in developing training tools and materials to support an infrastructure similar to client.
  • Experience Managing five (5) or more staff in a similar environment.
  • 6 years’ experience as a functional manager in an IT services provider organization.
