What are the responsibilities and job description for the Game Day Operations Intern (Summer 2025) position at USL W League?
Pleasanton RAGE are seeking passionate individuals to join our Game day team for the 2025 USL season. Positions are less than 20 hours per week but will depend on the number of hours needed to complete College course credit. Work schedules will be set at the beginning of the internship. Interns are voluntary and unpaid. The operations Intern will work in coordination with the USL W League Head Coach.

- Support pre-match setup, including field preparation, signage placement, and equipment organization.
- Coordinate with team staff, referees, and volunteers to ensure schedules and protocols are followed.
- Monitor and address operational issues during matches, ensuring a seamless experience for players and fans.
- Oversee post-match breakdown and storage of equipment and supplies.
- Willingness to help organize and clean equipment including team uniforms and match equipment if needed.
- Collaborate with the operations team to document and evaluate matchday procedures for future improvements.
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Access to a mobile phone for organizational communication.
Preferred:
- Passion for soccer and basic understanding of the sport.
Role Stipulations
- Availability to attend the majority of home matches at our stadium at Stanford Medicine Sports Complex in Pleasanton, CA, during the internship period (official match schedule will be provided).
- Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, on matchdays.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and stand or walk for long periods in varying weather conditions.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with Front Office staff, players, coaches, and fans.
- Capability to secure reliable transportation at your own expense.
