Your Role
We are looking for candidates with approximately 3-5 years of experience in the corporate communications and/or marketing fields. This is a mid-level role and is best suited for someone looking for the next step in their career. You will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and maintaining all written content that represents the USLI brand and its value-added services. You will develop strategies to effectively deliver this content across various channels, ensuring consistency and engagement with both internal and external audiences. This is a fantastic opportunity to blend writing, marketing, and digital expertise in an impactful role within a dynamic company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content creation and editing: Write, copyedit, and maintain content for email blasts, social media pages, websites, intranet, newsletters, presentations, coursework, marketing materials, and more.
- Digital marketing tools: Use platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite to develop content, manage updates, and implement changes for digital marketing.
- Social media management: Administer social media content including writing posts, collaborating on graphics, scheduling, and analyzing engagement metrics to make future recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with members of the Marketing team, including graphic designers, video production specialists, and leadership to ensure alignment on messaging and project goals.
- Internal communication: Liaise with internal departments such as underwriting and sales, as well as senior executives, to facilitate communication and ensure accuracy of messages across all channels.
- Community engagement: Serve as a resource for the growing USLI community, offering writing and marketing assistance as needed.
- Audit and maintain content: Regularly audit communications to maintain accuracy and refresh content to stay relevant and engaging for our audiences.
What You’ll Bring:
- Writing and grammar skills: Strong writing skills with an understanding of grammar rules, the ability to simplify complex ideas, and adapt writing for various audiences.
- Marketing skills: Experience in digital marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot) and familiarity with content creation tools (WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Analytical skills: Ability to analyze message engagement and analytics, identify areas for improvement, and implement creative solutions.
- Collaboration and communication skills: Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and effectively communicate ideas and strategies.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a corporate setting, preferably in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with digital marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp) and familiarity with content management tools (e.g., WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Exceptional writing skills with an ability to tailor messaging for different audiences, including both external customers and internal teams.
