What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Core Java Developer position at USM Business Systems?
This is a back-end project . We are migrating an existing application to the cloud by transitioning old apps to new frameworks. The framework used is Akka, and Postgres is the database . There are multiple databases, but that is the one we are using. We are working on one application at a time and prototyping how to do it. Once we have that process, we'll be able to migrate multiple applications simultaneously.

A Java developer who is looking for big data opportunities may not find them here. While there is AWS involved, a DevOps team is already in place.
AWS would be a 'nice to have.'
We need a core Java developer to round out the team.
