Job Summary
The School of Child and Family Sciences has is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach in the School Counseling, M.Ed. program. Adjunct faculty facilitate students’ achievement of course objectives and prepare graduate students for professional practice. Visiting faculty work closely with program coordinators to ensure that the standards and quality of the program curricula are met. The school counseling program is a hybrid program with most courses being taught online with some face-to-face courses in the summer.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and provide online and/or face-to-face course instruction
- Prepare and submit syllabi, grades and other required course documentation in a timely manner
- Communicate course requirements and expectations to students
- Communicate effectively with assigned faculty mentor/program coordinator
- Follow instructional protocols established by the university and the school
- Be available to student through office hours (face to face or virtual)
- Performs other duties as assigned
