Job Summary
Adjunct faculty members within the School of
Ocean Science and Engineering Division of Marine Science facilitate student
achievement of course objectives and prepares Undergraduate and/or Graduate
Students to matriculate through the following School of Ocean Science
and Engineering Division of Marine Science programs:
- Marine Science (B.S.)
- Marine
Science (M.S. & Ph.D.)
- Ocean Engineering (B.S.)
- Hydrographic Science – Cat A
(M.S.)
- Hydrographic Science – Cat B
(B.S.)
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Online and/or face-to-face course delivery and instruction
- Prepare and submit syllabi, grades and other required course documentation in a timely manner
- Communicate course requirements and expectations to students
- Follow policies and procedures of the School of Ocean Science & Engineering, College of Arts and Sciences, and The University of Southern Mississippi
- Performs other duties as assigned
