Job Summary
The School of Social Science and Global Studies at the
University of Southern Mississippi is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach
lower-level courses in sociology including the family or introduction to
sociology and other classes depending on program needs. Being able to
teach both face to face and online is a plus.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach sociology classes as needed.
- Prepare and submit syllabi, grades, and other required course documentation in a timely manner.
- Follow all university, college, and school policies regarding teaching practices and job performance.
- Assist students with course material as necessary, potentially outside of class time.
- Be responsive to communication from students, staff, and administration.
- Performs
other duties as assigned.
