Job Summary
Responsible for the day-today supervision of instructional and support
staff to include evaluations, scheduling, and administrative oversight for the DHS/FEMA
sport safety and security training program. Ensures compliance with all
grant-related guidelines.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the course instructor’s selection, training, day-to-day assignment, and performance. Establish goals and monitor performance for all assigned staff. Review instructor evaluations on a quarterly basis and provides coaching and/or additional training as needed.
- Observe and evaluate all instructional staff. Maintain up-to-date instructor training records.
- Meet all required performance targets: number of course deliveries and participants, and instructor utilization. This includes marketing efforts to ensure the optimal target market is captured.
- Manage course coordination efforts and course support to ensure the quality of each delivery within the program. This includes preparing training materials, shipping material, coordinating delivery locations and ensuring all course forms are completed in a timely manner.
- Keeps informed of and interprets pertinent rules, regulations, policies and procedures set forth by the University or other governing agencies and adjust plans as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
