Applications for Adjunct Faculty to teach in the following areas are now being accepted and will be reviewed as needed: Finance, Economic Development, MIS, Data Analytics, and Business Law and Ethics.
Applicants should indicate in their cover letter which academic areas they are qualified to teach, as well as which campus or teaching sites (Hattiesburg and/or Long Beach) they are willing to accept as assignments.
Job Summary
Adjunct faculty members provide face-to-face, hybrid and online course instruction including all aspects of course administration as an instructor of record.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere to class schedules as posted.
- Communicate course requirements to students.
- Teach face-to-face, hybrid and online classes as needed.
- Be available to assigned students for support and course advising including exams, required remediation, and summative evaluations.
- Be collaborative with other CBE faculty as well as the Director to plan, implement and evaluate each course offering taught to maintain quality and effectiveness.
- Follow the policies and procedures of the CBE and the University of Southern Mississippi.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
