Job Summary
Lead
the School of Speech and Hearing Sciences academic and clinical units, serve as
Superintendent of the DuBard School for Language Disorders and The Children's
Center for Communication and Development, and manage the School budget. Oversee
hiring practices and faculty development. Write accreditation reports, respond
to governing body surveys, and complete faculty evaluations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the Director for the SSHS academic and clinical units, and as the Superintendent of Schools for the DuBard School for Language Disorders and The Children's Center for Communication and Development;
- Manage the SSHS budget;
- Teach one course each semester in primary areas of expertise;
- Responsible for class scheduling, approving faculty time and effort, approving student withdrawals and change of majors along with numerous other tasks;
- Write technical reports/complete surveys for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's governing bodies and evaluate faculty teaching, research, and service endeavors;
- Manage all faculty, staff, and student information requests and issues in a timely fashion, and perform other assigned duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
