JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a highly talented and motivated OTM Technical Leader. You would participate in the full lifecycle of an OTM implementation to deliver a highly complex, comprehensive business solution for the enterprise. The OTM Technical Leader will be both, a technical and a functional expert in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) module. The successful candidate will coordinate with a team of internal and external developers to support the growth and sustainability of client logistics and transportation operations. Some knowledge of OTM’s Fleet module is a plus for this role. The candidate should demonstrate expert capability in building business relationships, gathering and clarifying business requirements, translating requirements into low level design documents, and partnering with the team to carry forward system changes and enhancements through to production. You would have responsibility for design, implementation, and support of business solutions based on Oracle Transportation Management within client organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Analyze business requirements (functional and technical) to ensure the solution conforms to the requirements

Create design documents to meet business requirements
Create and implement an integration strategy for OTM
Perform the necessary configuration including the design and developments of user agents to support the business requirements in OTM
Develop functional specifications associated with system enhancements & interfaces
Develop and execute unit-test and integration test scenarios
Work with other business process owners, end-users and project team members to effectively implement OTM on schedule
Complete high and low level design, development, testing and implementation for application solution sets within the Order to Cash business process with focus on OTM execution
Design and develop (deliver) OTM reports as well as product extensions as needed, and assist in the integrations with external trading partners
Work directly with the business team to identify business needs and requirements, scope work efforts, develop and implement solutions, and support business process change
Effectively builds and maintains internal customer and peer relationships to support effective implementations
Ensure that the new functionalities and implementations, including configuration changes, are setup and migrated to production following established release management processes
Applies expertise to develop and implement innovative business solutions
Suggests improvements within internal IT processes (documentation, month/qtr. end support, etc.) and able to implement these suggestions
Provides production support for related Oracle application modules and other operational processes, manages incidents, and takes ownership to resolve issues
Provide Level 3 support (e.g., break/fix, how to expertise, minor enhancements, monitoring, testing, troubleshooting) for OTM
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors in Computer Science or related major
Technical knowledge of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), including:
Configuration of OTM System including shipment plans
Advanced Workflow Agent design and configuration
Integration design and development (SOA, Shipment Interface, GLOG XML)
Operational and analytical report design and development
Domain Design and configuration
Performance tuning and stress testing
Workflow design and setup
Previous experience with custom extensions
Stored procedures and complex SQL and Java development
Demonstrated competency in technical skills that include: Weblogic Server, Oracle Database, SQL/PL-SQL, module related Oracle APIs, Forms, Java/J2EE, BPEL, SOA, BI Publisher
Demonstrated competency in SQL query design and performance tuning
Strong verbal communication skills required
Strong SQL skills
Previous transportation/logistics/supply chain experience a big plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity
Ability to work under tight deadlines and consistently deliver strong results
2 years of experience specifically designing/implementing/supporting Oracle Transportation Management module
