The University of Southern Mississippi invites applicants for a full-time, nine-month position as an Instructor of Data Analytics in the School of Finance to begin in August 2025. Job Summary
This nine-month, non-tenure-track position requires teaching undergraduate courses in analytics within the College of Business and Economic Development. Participation in service activities within the school, college, and university are also required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Teaches undergraduate courses in analytics. Teaching includes preparation of course materials such as syllabi, course content, homework assignments, and handouts; evaluation and grading of students’ class work, assignments, and papers; maintaining student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
- Holding regularly scheduled office hours in order to assist students.
- Pursue opportunities for development of teaching skills and methods.
- Participates in service at a variety of levels, including school, college, and university.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
