Provides
guidance to Mechanic I in accomplishment of work.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Purchases replacement automotive parts, supplies, and hand tools as needed.
- Services, performs preventative maintenance, and repairs all campus vehicles, and other maintenance equipment to include tractors, back hoes, trucks, mowers, forklifts, electric carts; and keeps vehicles and equipment in excellent condition mechanically and clean in appearance.
- Rebuilds vehicles and fabricates parts when needed.
- Repairs other mechanical devices on campus such as pumps, compressors, and compactors and performs other related duties as assigned such as providing guidance for Mechanic I.
