Job Summary
Responsible
for installation, configuration, documentation, repair, monitoring, and
preventive maintenance of the university’s switch network, wireless network,
and DHCP/DNS services. Responsible for
the configuration, repair, and preventive maintenance of the university’s
communications rooms.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Administers, installs, configures, maintains, monitors and provides tier three troubleshooting of the university’s wireless and switch network.
- Installs, maintains, and repairs the university’s communications rooms. Ensures communications rooms adhere to IEEE standards.
- Administers, installs, configures, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots the university’s DCHP and DNS services.
- Maintains all documentation related to the university’s switch network, wireless network, DHCP/DNS services, and communications rooms.
- Maintains and increases technical knowledge through coursework, workshops, seminars, readings, and cross training with other team members. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
