JOB TITLE: Project Manager
DEPARTMENT TITLE: Operations
REPORTS TO: Regional Operations Manager
Isolatek International, the industry leader in the marketing and manufacturing of passive fire protection materials for the construction industry, has an immediate opening for a full-time Project Manager in our Operations Department at Stanhope, NJ or Houston, TX locations.
SCOPE OF POSITION
We’re searching for a highly qualified project manager to help us maintain our position as an innovative authority. The ideal candidate will have production experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans. The project manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to operations and other managers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
- Ensure safety, quality, manufacturing and other company requirements are included and implemented as part of all projects.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers.
- Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
- As directed, participate and conduct productivity and other efficiency projects.
- Perform other duties and special projects as needed to support the business.
- Project Management as assigned by supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned by Regional Operations Manager.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Minimum 3-5 years projects; demonstrated execution of six sigma and/or lean projects.
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university (in a technical degree)
- 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Travel Short Term: 3-4x per month to 3rd party locations
Travel Longer Term: 1-2X per month as needed
