What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at USP Management?
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team. This role combines accounting expertise with administrative support and property management duties, ensuring seamless operations across our office and managed properties. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates strong multitasking abilities and interpersonal skills, and brings a detail-oriented approach to managing financial records, administrative tasks, and property-related responsibilities.
Responsibility Areas:
- Assist with daily accounting tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Monitor and review general ledger accounts, promptly resolving discrepancies.
- Perform account reconciliations regularly to ensure the accuracy and completeness of records.
- Calculate and analyze profit-share commissions, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Oversee expenses, including reviewing invoices, processing payments, and tracking rent collections.
- Act as the primary contact for tenants and building management, addressing inquiries and coordinating repairs or inspections.
- Handle lease agreements, renewals, terminations, and tenant communications regarding lease matters.
- Manage daily property operations, including maintenance and tenant relations.
- Order and manage supplies for office and property needs as required.
- Collaborate with auditors during the audit process, providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
- Work with other departments to deliver financial insights and support decision-making.
- Perform ad hoc administrative tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace.
- Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in any property management preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Proficiency in both English and Korean languages.
Work Hours: Full-Time (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
