Certified Operating Room Technician - Scrub Tech

Job Summary:

The Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech) plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for anticipating the needs of the surgical team, establishing and maintaining a sterile field during surgeries, and assisting in maintaining a clean and organized operating room.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and certified Surgical Technologist who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and demonstrate a strong attention to detail.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile field during surgeries
• Prepare and transport equipment and supplies as needed
• Assist with patient care and transportation
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth operation of the OR

Requirements:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (ST)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred
• BLS certification required
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
