Culinary Department - Ambassador PRN
This position is responsible for obtaining meal orders and delivering meals to patients. Responsible for recording intakes as needed, picking up soiled trays after meal service is over, and assisting where necessary in the Room service operation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Reading, basic math, written language in English
- Preferred: High School education (diploma) or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a high volume restaurant, hospital, or Institution preferred.
- Obtain food handler certification within 60 days of the start date.
- Computer skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Maintain a friendly and cheerful demeanor at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Great customer service skills.
- Operates tablet and nutrition software.
- Maintains a clean, safe, sanitary working environment.
- Responsible for taking orders, delivering/picking up trays and recording intakes.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of patient dietary needs and menu items.
- All other duties assigned by the Manager and/or Executive Chef.
