USPI’s Norman Endoscopy Center is looking for a talented PRN LPN to join the team! Our mission at Norman Endoscopy Center is to provide high quality gastrointestinal services to each and every patient in a safe, convenient, congenial environment. We are committed to promoting gastrointestinal health and wellness through the delivery of excellent clinical care.
No weekends, Nights or Holidays!
POSITION SUMMARY:
The LPN provides professional nursing care by assessing, planning, treatment, and evaluation of the patient. The LPN provides safe, compassionate, and knowledgeable care to patients at the center.
Required Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Current State Licensure in the State of Oklahoma as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
2. Ability to meet the needs of the nursing schedule especially when overtime or time changes occur.
3. Current BLS.
4. Full-time LPN must have current ACLS. If does not have ACLS, it must be obtained as soon as possible. PRN LPNs are not required to have ACLS but it is encouraged.
5. Good written skills and verbal command of the English language.
6. Skills in dexterity for moving and positioning patients.
7. Ability to work well with Physicians, fellow employees and patients.
8. Positive response to supervision and criticism.
9. Ability to perform IV Therapy and complete IV competency.
