What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mammography Tech FT position at USPI?
- Performs a variety of diagnostic procedures according to USPI ‘s policies and procedures
- Coordinates patient testing and care with office personnel and medical staff
- Maintains equipment, supplies and organize work area
- Consult radiologist as needed
- Responsible for data entry into RISLinQ and utilization of PACS
Additional Tasks, if applicable
- Patient interaction is kind, gentle, friendly and treatment is explained prior to the beginning in order to relieve a apprehension.
- Performs a variety of diagnostic procedures in multiple imaging modalities according to the policy and procedure manual.
- All radiographic and other modality examinations reflect the highest quality results obtainable
- Work is performed in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area
- Responsible for following radiation safety guidelines
- Maintains education and technical training to stay abreast in the field and also maintains all MyUSPI’s education requirements.
- Radiologists are assisted in the operation of independent consoles.
- Responsible for correct patient information entered into all CR/DR equipment.
- Adheres to attendance Policy.

Required Experience:
- Must be ARRT Certified in (R), (M)
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience
