What You’ll Do:
-
Serve as a key part of the surgical team, ensuring imaging support for procedures
-
Prepare and operate imaging equipment per physician request
-
Minimize radiation exposure using safety protocols and patient shielding
-
Maintain accurate documentation of imaging in medical records
-
Ensure all imaging orders are verified and compliant
-
Educate surgical staff on radiation safety measures
-
Coordinate equipment maintenance and service needs
-
Assist in maintaining radiographic supply inventory

Support the surgical team with other tasks as needed to facilitate procedures
Required Experience, Skills, Licensure, and Certification:
-
Degree from an accredited radiology program

Active ARRT registration within one year of hire

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
Environmental and Physical Requirements:

Work in a temperature-controlled surgical setting
-
Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English

Cognitive skills for math, reading, and computer tasks

Physical ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and up to 20 lbs. frequently

Ability to push, pull, reach, kneel, and stoop

Exposure to hazardous materials, bloodborne pathogens, and infectious diseases
