Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position qualifies for the Full-Time USPI/Tenet Benefit Package.
Main OR - 4-10s or 3-12s (M-F)
HOPD OR - 5-8s (M-F)
As the OR RN Circulator, you will have responsibility for patient safety by designing, coordinating and delivering care to meet the needs of the surgical patient.
Required Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Minimum requirement is an Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year previous Operating Room experience required.
- Licensure: Current unrestricted Texas RN license
- Life Support Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association
- CNOR preferred
- Critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
- Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
- Able to lift, push, pull and stand without difficulty
