Specialties include Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Pain Management, Urology, GI/Endoscopy, Plastic, Podiatry and Bariatric surgeries. Managed by United Surgical Partners International. We are currently seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCT) to join our team.
Assists with direct patient care, patient flow through departments, answers phones, trouble shoots for nurses. chart building, and performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature as needed. Authorized to access storage areas for the purpose of performing patient care duties within the scope of practice.
Required Skills:
- High school student or graduate or equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), preferred
- One year of experience is preferred
- AHA BLS certification, required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
- Possess the ability to follow established cleaning methods in performing daily tasks.
- Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures
- Must be able to keep all equipment in good working condition and ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
