Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join our team on a Part-Time basis.
Join our small, focused Pharmacy Services team here at Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital, an exclusive orthopedics surgery center, where we have been dedicated to improving patient’s quality of life for 25 years. Work along with our patient focused, service-oriented team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
The Pharmacist is responsible for:
- Review patient medication history for allergies and drug interactions, including drug procurement, dispensing, monitoring, and providing drug information to professional staff
- Ensure accurate and timely dispensing and distribution of all pharmaceuticals.
- Monitor drug therapy as ordered by medical staff and suggest alternate drug therapy when appropriate.
- Advise patients on the use of medications, including dosage, administration schedules, and side effects.
- Upholding regulatory compliance of pharmacy services for the facility.
This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The Pharmacist collaborates with medical staff regarding prescriptive issues and therapy recommendations.
Required Skills:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Current Pharmacist licensure in the State of Arizona.
