What are the responsibilities and job description for the PreOp PACU Nurse position at USPI?
USPI Hyde Park Surgery Center is seeking a skilled RN PreOp PACU professional to contribute to our team. We have 3 operating rooms, where we perform various outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, Orthopedic, Pain Management, and Spine. This role requires working weekdays only, with no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be necessary; the schedule is subject to change based on the surgical schedule and daily workflow.
This position involves providing nursing care to preoperative patients, developing individualized nursing care plans, and assessing patient readiness for discharge. In addition, employees may be cross-trained in other clinical areas and tasked with performing duties outside their normal scope as staffing and patient needs dictate.
