USpireND has an exciting opportunity within the Healthy Families Program as a Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator will oversee a dedicated service area within HFND (Healthy Families ND), serving as the primary point of contact and representing the organization with external partners in various settings. This role requires collaboration with peers across HFND to implement innovative initiatives and shared service activities. The Program Coordinator will provide reflective supervision to assigned staff in alignment with HFA protocols, ensuring excellence in service delivery. They will support staff in managing challenging work environments, proactively addressing service issues, and escalating concerns when necessary. A strong commitment to family-centered, strength-based service provision is essential, with a focus on strengthening parent-child relationships and supporting culturally diverse communities. The Program Coordinator is responsible for completing all work and documentation within program timelines, attending required trainings, and, as needed, stepping in to fulfill the duties of a Family Support Specialist, including completing assessments, conducting home visits, and carrying a small caseload.

The Salary for this position is $21.00-25.00/Hour DOE (depending on experience)
Minimum Requirements:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, Education, Child Development or Human Services Field or at least 3 years of experience in working with children and/or families or commensurate HFA experience
- Understanding of or experiencing in supervising diverse staff with humility.
- Knowledge of infant and child development along with parent-child attachment principles to include background in early childhood prevention services.
- Strong communication skills and open to reflective practices.
- Knowledge of parent-infant health and dynamics of child abuse and neglect.
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, ability to maintain reliable transportation, and proof of insurance for the vehicle
- Successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Up to 20% travel and travel typically within a 75-mile radius.
- Working most typically in an office or home setting with clients. Regularly required to sit; frequently required to reach with hands and arms, walk, navigate stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch; must be able to lift objects up to 25 pounds.
- Work potentially involves some risk to personal safety of injury, illness or health arising from the environment or the public/clients.
