Job Description :
USPRO is seeking a skilled Stress Analyst to join an engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in structural analysis and expertise with tools like ANSYS, Workbench, and APDL. This role requires proficiency in both steady-state and modal analysis, with a strong background in aerospace structures, particularly thin-walled components. Experience with gas turbines, crack propagation, and strain gauge testing will be considered a strong asset.
Responsibilities :
- Perform structural assessments for complex systems, including static and dynamic analysis of aerospace structures.
- Conduct whole engine modeling, considering both steady-state and transient loads, and assess dynamic responses.
- Lead or support experimental test planning, execution, and data interpretation, including correlation of simulation results to physical test data.
- Collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines, including engineering, manufacturing, and product support, to ensure integrated solutions.
- Prepare and present technical reports and analysis results to senior engineers and stakeholders.
- Participate in technical and product reviews, including safety and life assessments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering methods and processes.
