We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Rural Carrier Associate to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of mail and packages to rural areas. Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to designated rural routes in a timely manner.
- Operate delivery vehicles and ensuring safe driving practices.
- Load and unload mail using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Assist with moving and organizing mail within the warehouse as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations while driving and handling mail.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 70 pounds) regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
