Responsibilities

- Load and unload mail from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of all items.
- Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from customers.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Navigate various routes effectively, utilizing maps or GPS systems as necessary.
- Assist with heavy lifting as required when loading or unloading mail.
Skills
- Proficient in route driving with a strong understanding of local geography.
- Experience with commercial driving and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading tasks is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks as part of daily responsibilities.
- Familiarity with courier services and logistics operations is beneficial.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
