You Are:

A Manufacturing Subject Matter Expert (SME) who will provide domain expertise, technical guidance, and process optimization insights for our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, supply chain, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.

The Opportunity:

• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.

• Define best practices for process efficiency, waste reduction, and quality enhancement.

• Recommend and implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 methodologies.

• Guide the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, AI, and predictive analytics.

• Work with IT and engineering teams to integrate Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and SAP DMC/MII solutions.

• Develop and implement digital twins for real-time performance monitoring and predictive maintenance.

• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to design and implement advanced manufacturing techniques.

• Lead initiatives to introduce intelligent assets and smart automation in manufacturing.

• Evaluate and suggest new technologies to improve product quality, reduce costs, and enhance supply chain efficiency.

• Develop training materials and conduct workshops for manufacturing teams on process improvements and new technologies.

• Act as a mentor to production teams, ensuring adherence to established best practices.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality certifications.

• Monitor adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols in manufacturing operations.

What you need:

• Bachelors Degree or relevant years of experience
• At least 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations or process optimization.
• Expertise in digital transformation, automation, and smart factory implementation.
• Experience in integrating MES, ERP, and shop floor systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in manufacturing process simulation, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
• Hands-on experience with IoT, AI, and predictive maintenance tools.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.



Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $ 124,000-185,000




Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
