You Are:

UST is searching for a Performance Lead who will work with the Project Manager (PM) and Delivery Manager (DM) to establish a mutually agreeable PE staffing plan.

The opportunity:

• Reviews and approves defined SLAs.

• Reviews Test Plan documents and facilitates its review and approval from the stakeholders.

• Provides PM with the project’s testing milestones, task level estimates, assumptions, and risks.

• Reviews and approves Non-functional Requirements/SUCs/Test Plan/Test Scenarios/Test Scripts/Recommendations/ Go / No-Go test documentation.

• Defines Test Data management and performance monitoring strategies.

• Ensure PE deliverables meet project timelines.

• Works with the development team to advise on performance related engineering decisions, such as data modelling, cloud infrastructure, database configuration, environment sizing, and other optimizations.

• Ensures Test Data is proactively created and maintained based on production usage statistics.

• Ensures access to the assigned PE applications built on Cloud/On-Prem.

• Ensure testers are developing Test Cases and Test Scenarios according to non-functional requirements and within defined schedule.

• Manages defects and facilitates their resolution.

• Approves the project plan for PE tasks and any revisions.

• Assigns, monitors, and controls PE task progress to ensure completion per the project plan.

• Collaborates with the PM and the DM to ensure a risk mitigation strategy is in place.

• Establishes and maintains relationships with customers and stakeholders.

• Ensures all PE project artifacts are current, are in their proper location, and are audit ready.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

• 12 Years of Experience with Performance Testing and Performance Engineering

• Experience on Performance Testing tools – Load Runner / Jmeter / NeoLoad

• Experience with Performance Monitoring Tools – Grafana, DynaTrace

• Experience with Cloud (AWS) and cloud performance Metrix

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Illinois

Compensation Range: $76,000-$117,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
