You Are:
UST is searching for a SAP ABAP Developer who will develop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents, and conduct unit, integration and release testing to validate functionality.
The opportunity:
- Working with Solution Architects to build and support SAP solutions
- Implement SAP ABAP software applications and interfaces
- Support end-users Acceptance Testing activities and participate in Production Operations and Release Management support.
- Assist with upgrades, new releases and monitor performance of the technical objects.
- BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDOCs, LSMW, writing user exits, BDC coding, and interfaces.
- SAP ABAP/4 programming using: SAPscript, smartforms, AdobeForms iDocs, BAPI, RFC.
- Develop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents; assist in defining and documenting SAP Best Practices.
- Code change and code review.
- Develop enhancements. Analyze and Fix IDOC, Web Service, RFC Issues.
- Writing technical specifications.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
- Should have minimum of 7 years of technical experience with good experience in Net weaver fundamentals with Core and Advanced ABAP Programming.
- Proven track record in leading and delivering in a complex ERP environment.
- Own end-to-end responsibility for delivering and supporting architecture, design, engineering efficiency and optimize the development process for continuous delivery.
- Strong technical expertise into SAP ABAP including UI5, IDocs, Interfaces, OOPS, BADI & enhancement switch Framework.
- Working experience in SAP HANA Platform, Code-to-Data paradigm, OData, CDS Views, AMDP.
- Experience leading multiple end-to-end SAP implementations in a hands-on capacity in technical areas (Architecture, Programming).
- Should have working experience in integration projects involving middleware interfaces.
- Strong understanding of API’s , Web Services (SOAP/REST).
- Good knowledge of business processes in the field of Order Management, Subscription based billing and invoicing with Usages.
- Should know the overview of SAP Modules – MM, SD, FI/CO.
- Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization including business and IT.
- Working exposure towards Agile development practices in SAP.
- Ability to network within the IT and business environment.
