You Are:
This resource will provide subject matter expertise of the SAP CI/DS toolset and related technologies. Work experience in FMCG, Retail Industry is preferable.
The opportunity:
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services (SAP CI-DS) and other relevant tools.
- Load data from SAP S/4 HANA, SAP BW, and other sources to SAP IBP (inbound and outbound) using SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services (SAP CI-DS), including planning, execution, and post-migration support.
- Conduct SAP CI-DS installation and configuration activities, including configuring the CI-DS agent, datastore connectivity, and RFC configuration.
- Develop SAP CI-DS tasks to load data into SAP IBP using appropriate data load approach.
- Integrate SAP CI-DS with SAP IBP and other SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP ECC) and external systems to ensure seamless data loading.
- Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into target data (both SAP and non-SAP).
- Perform data mapping rules, cleansing, and transformation activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the data load process.
- Implement best practices and standards to create SAP CI-DS tasks and projects for data transfer.
- Understand how to load data from SAP-provided sources, including SAP tables, extractors, IDocs, and function modules.
- Collaborate with vendor and client teams to gather business requirements and develop objects as per the provided FSDs and mapping documents.
- Develop detailed data load strategies, roadmaps, and timelines to ensure all objectives are met within the given timeframe.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data loads and reporting issues to ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Maintain Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including installation processes, project tasks, and transformation logic.

What you need:
- Experience working on different tasks using templates as well as custom tasks with multiple data flows
- Experience in datastore configurations for File format, Web services, SAP BW source, SAP HANA cloud, SAP HANA.
- Experience in integrations through DS like BW to IBP, S4 to IBP and IBP to S4.
- Experience working on ABAP transforms, Global variables and preload and post load scripts, Joins and Rowgen operators etc.,
- Experience in creating Process chains in CPI DS and application job templates in SAP IBP
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and practices.
- Experience of working with different EDI formats like ANSI X12, Edifact, etc. Stabilizing operating complex SAP environments for EDI flows.
