You Are:
UST is searching for an SRE who will develop strategy and automate routines and repeatable tasks and identify, create, and support them through deployment.
The opportunity:
- Work as SRE for realtime system ensuring high availability.
- Create Monitors and finetune s to detect anomalies and work with dev team members providing insights against production env to avoid incidents.
- Contribute towards RCA for incidents that arise against production environments.
- Support application deployments, configuration settings, and sql executions using the
- Design, develop, and implement solutions to further expand our use of deployment and test automation technology across the organization in accordance with business objectives.
- Effectively translates use cases and requirements into repeatable processes and system designs.
- Assist and provides technical quality oversight at various points throughout a project lifecycle.
- Document daily activity
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
- Experience with AKS - required.
- Experience with DataDog for monitoring for issue triaging required.
- Experience with Imperva or a similar WAF.
- Experience building automated pipelines with Azure DevOps required.
- Experience with Azure required.
- Should be proficient with app services, vNet and security hardening against azure network.
- Experience with appGateway, WAF, debugging network traffic, packet sniffers. preferred.
- Proficiency with PowerShell or other scripting languages preferred
